I’m really loving all of the new online boutiques that keep popping up. One in particular that caught my eye recently is Nine Space!
I was drawn to them for their overwhelming attention to detail and perfectly photographed products. They jump off the pages and help tell a beautiful story of what they’re about – which is simply artisan decor, cozy throws and dreamy bathrobes. They also have amazing yellow dip-died napkins that are a must for Spring.
Although small with only 8 employees, Nine Space seems to be lean and mean, selling their thoughtful items to over 400 retailers, spas and hotels. They were named one of the top 100 private consumer product companies in 2013.
I pulled some of my favorite shots from their lookbooks and listed the products that I feel pair perfectly with the vibe.
Also, Nine Space heard we were fans over at Cecy J and offered a discount to our readers. Between now and April 30th they are offering our readers 30% off ALL items! Just enter CecyJLove at checkout.
Happy Nine Space hunting for Spring.
Such a fun way to wrap up 2013 with an app I’m totally digging… FLIPAGRAM. It allows you to roll your photos into one short picture story. Perfect for a summary of your year. There is even an option to set it to music. It’s so easy. I’m a little obsessed.
Enjoy + Happy New Year.
As promised last Friday we’re chatting with the founders/designers of SIX1FIVE and giving away one of my favorite pieces from their collection – an edgy, cozy classic sweatshirt perfect for just about any casual, yet chic, occasion.
I was intrigued with the Cissy Jones and Emily Cook business model and their ability to spring-up a brand that has so quickly caught a cult following. Cissy and Emily dwell in Dallas, Texas. I hope you enjoy my chat with the girls.
1 winner will be announced on cecyj.com next Monday, November 25th, 2013.

Advice for women starting their own company?
GO FOR IT AND STICK WITH IT. THERE ARE A LOT OF BUMPS IN THE ROAD, BUT YOU MUST PERSEVERE. RECOGNIZE YOUR TALENTS AND USE THEM TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. BE MORE AWARE OF YOUR WEAKNESSES AND FIND A WAY TO CONQUER THEM.

I’m watching 4moms closely… predicting they might be the next big thing in baby gear.
4moms Origami Stroller has small generators in the rear wheels providing enough power to self fold and open. It can also charge your cell phone while you walk. Their Infant Tub drains dirty water while refreshing with new and closely manages the temperature. The Infant Car Seat (coming in 2014) installs itself and verifies a safe connection before you drive off.
No, I’m not kidding. If these products work as well as advertised, I think we’re headed for a baby product revolution.
Okay this Tiffany & Co. Savoy Headpiece is a smidge out of my budget… and I really can’t think of one place I could get away with wearing it, but it is overwhelmingly awesome and inspiring just the same.
Kombucha is a naturally carbonated and fermented tea that has gained in popularity over the last 6 years or so as a natural energy drink with probiotics and energizing properties. It is viewed as a healthy alternative to mainstream soda.
I’ve been a fan for years and got a kick out of the kombucha brand called Kombucha Dog I spotted in Los Angeles.
Kombucha Dog’s blend was delicious and, as a total bonus, its labels feature photos of adorable pups available for adoption. If one of the pooch models looks like the pet of your dreams, you can visit Kombucha Dog’s website for adoption information. Love it!
