LOVE this California Girl letterpress art printed in N E O N P I N K by Sugar Paper. Sugar Paper is such a darling “papery” out of Los Angeles!
These colorful cups by Falcon Enamelware will be finding their way into my kitchen soon. They are dishwasher safe, stackable and can roll with temperatures up to 530 degrees!
One of my favorite things to do is swap cosmetic secrets with my amazingly beautiful and kick ass girlfriends. This is what I’m using and what I love right now. No paid review peeps… just what’s working this very second. Hope you enjoy.
1- Sunscreen: Collagen Moisturizer SPF 15 by Mario Badescu
Lightweight texture, absorbs instantly so you can quickly move on to a bit of concealer, blush & bronzer… done!
2- Perfume: Black Saffron by Byredo
If you don’t buy this perfume for its flawless packaging & branding you will purchase it for the beautiful smell. It’s a more masculine scent than I typically wear but the smoky, citrus, leather and tobacco aroma is slightly addicting.
3- Oil (for your face): Beauty Oil by RMS
I can’t be the only one that feels like night cream is a bit of a heavy drag. This light oil smells like cooking vanilla and makes for lovely moisturized skin by morning.
4- Concealer: Highlighting Concealer Brush by TERRY
Dreamy creamy concealer that covers it all up but is light enough to not show anything but your pretty skin.
5- Skin Perfector: Micro Blur Skin Perfector by Kiehl’s
I bought Micro Blur Skin Perfector with a girlfriend because she heard it was supposed to make your face look “Instagrammed” in real life… sold. I’m not sure if it holds up to that giant promise but it does make for a smooth and creamy base before makeup. Also, mentally I enjoy dreaming of my permanently Instgrammed face!
6- Mascara: Intensifying Long Wear by Bobbi Brown
I literally wear mascara 1 x per month due to the insane process to remove all the mascara from my lashes and face by the end of the day. Not sure if it’s my skin type but I’m always left with raccoon eyes and 20 washes to remove it all. Bobbi’s Long Wear is a dream. It sort of clumps up and comes off in literally seconds. Quickly becoming an everyday mascara girl now!
7- Hairspray: Laque Couture by Kerastase
I used L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray for years simply because every magazine and online review always said it was the very best. Truth is I always thought it was sticky, but I stuck with the expert recommendations until my hair salon gave me a sample of Laque Couture by Kerastase. I swear it leaves my hair soft and will hold the curl through rain or a sweater or a hot summer. Oh and just a spray or two is all you need.
