My family spent Spring Break at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Coincidentally, it just so happened that a client had told me their “perfect pool” (and the inspiration for the ground-up build) was the Adults Only pool there. So when we landed in our vacation destination at that very hotel, the perpetual designer in me was excited to explore what made the pool so special and to investigate the materials used. Here is what I uncovered… hope this is helpful for those of you dipping into a pool project.
The deck tiles are by IPE. They created such a lovely serene look with wood vs. lots of concrete and stone.
The Cabanas were ordered through Kettal.
The stone around the Adult Pool is called Basalt. It is the most perfect charcoal grey color and was sourced by Four Seasons through Pono Stone in Hawaii.
I don’t have any details on the materials used for this structure but I thought I would still share the photo. The design was brilliant at hiding a small bar for drink service, towel return area and creating privacy on the back side for the Adults Only hot tub.
Big thanks to the amazing staff at The Seasons Resort on the island of Oahu, Hawaii for graciously providing all the sources + details.
